Aug 23, 2020 · The last time we see Anakin fight Dooku before Revenge of the Sith is on Oba Diah in Season 6 Episode 10 of the Clone Wars, along with Obi-Wan. Anakin seems to fight well, as does Obi-Wan, considering Dooku's absolutely mental skills in fighting (probably his best performance in a duel we've seen).

You can say this change and advancement was instinctual, or you can say Anakin fighting Dooku and hundreds of Jedi with the backing of the dark side allowed him to quickly graduate to tier 9.
