There are currently 140 members of the Cooper High School Band. In addition to band, our students participate in nearly every organization on the Cooper High School campus. The Clack Cardinal Band and the Madison Bison Band are the two middle school band programs that feed the Cooper Band.

The Awesome Cooper Band is the marching band at Cooper High School. The ACB includes all students in the CHS Band Program in grades 9-12. The marching band performs in parades, football games, and contests throughout the fall semester.

During the fall semester marching band rehearsals are Monday evenings from 6:30pm - 8:30pm, and Tuesday-Friday mornings from 7:00am - 7:55am. Any changes in this schedule will be communicated by a director.

Mr. John Landin began his current position as the head director of the Awesome Cooper Band in the summer of 2021.

The Cooper Band has many ensembles for students to participate in. These include the Awesome Cooper Band, Color Guard, Drumline, Jazz Band, Winter Guard, Concert Band, Symphonic Band, and Wind Symphony.
