Apr 25, 2017 · Expedit (Kallax) are sturdier and more versatile for board game storage than Billy bookshelves imo. I would never load a Billy with the kind of weight I've put on Expedit units. Also, the shelf depth of Billy is limiting. I've found the cube sections of the Expedit/Kallax are a great size for most modern board games.

Option 2: rent a large storage unit and move my games stored in bins out to it, thus allowing more games to be moved from the house into bins in the garage, and so on. Not an option.

Apr 23, 2024 · I do have the beta art set (and sleeves) but there's no way to fit them in the base game insert. The suggested answer to that (if you think you need to integrate the beta cards into the other draw decks) is to store 2 characters complete card sets in the game insert, and 2 character card sets in the beta art box.

Feb 18, 2021 · I have a small shelving area that works well for this, so I can stack three or four of them on top of each other. On my big shelf I can put a couple on top of my larger boxes. You get a lot more out of your storage space that way. A fabric or plastic storage container is also a reasonable solution.
