I'll usually opt for the maximum battery lifespan of 60% when i am using the notebook @ home. And shift it back to 80% or even 100% if i need to when i am moving about or even traveling overseas. May 17, 2015 · I did run the troubleshooter, but at the end, there was nothing to change there. And I performed the actions, but again, nothing. The diagnostics that I ran show no indication of a battery problem. Plus, no problem existed with my battery BEFORE I switched to the 60% option, which was SUPPOSED to extend my battery life.
