I've been around the Sims forum communities and apparently EA has no current plans on releasing The Sims 1 on Origin, because it's "too old". I think that the game should definitely be released on Origin like The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection was. I'd buy it and so would many other die-hard simmers!

I have all the CDs of The Sims 1, but I lent The Sims Makin Magic to a friend and he lost. So, I can't buy it again because EA doesn't sell anymore. The Sims 1 was part of my childhood and every CD that I bought was a achievement!

@Zoiie92 , at this time, EA has no plans to remaster and re-release the original The Sims (Sims 1) or Sims 2. The only way to play either game is from disks which can be found on Amazon, E-Bay, at stores that sell used games or thrift stores.

Many of you out there are aware of Sims 1 not supported on Windows 10. This is not only sad, but EA no longer supports this game either. That is their choice, but in my opinion, this game is historical and should be preserved for future generations.

In the meantime, you might pay a visit to CTO Sims, a Sims 1 fansite with forums, and ask there about how to install Sims 1 on Windows 10. I recall seeing instructions there, but you have to register on the site to read the forums.
