Formatting cells for stopwatch time values - Excel Help Forum
Jan 27, 2012 · I am entering a series of time values (MM:SS) transcribed from a stopwatch. I would like to change the cell format settings so that the cell does not assume it's a time-of-day-like meaning (HH:MM:SS AM/PM). I've checked "Format Cell: Number: Category: Time" and ":Custom" but I haven't found precisely what I'm looking for.

I even set it up so that you could do a SaveAs -> .xla file so you can use it as an Excel Add in and it will be available in all of your workbooks if you want. Sep 25, 2015 · Thank you Kaper. This helps a lot. However, this code write the time in a new line everytime that i click stop and start, and i want that stay always the same cell recording, stoping and return to zero, and start again.

Im planning that the default of textbox1 is "00:00:00" and once start is pressed it will start running and ofcourse stop will freeze the time. is there a way guys.. pretty much appreciate it..
