Feb 2, 2022 · I'd definitely prefer to BUY a bow here on AT. I've sold many recurve & longbows on stickbow, tradgang, and many on ebay. In my experience as a seller, I'll get more than the cost of the commission ebay charges in the sale price if I sell on ebay.

May 6, 2009 · What is the wt of the Bows One thing that will help on selling the bows is the numbers on the lower limb on the bow. It might have 50 @ 28 or 60 @ 29". The first number is the poundage, the second is the draw, How many inches. It will say PMA, PSA, or PCH.And it will say 58" or 60" or 62'' or 64". This info will tell others exactly what you have.

Nov 25, 2013 · I personally think that the Buffalo's you tend to see up for sale are generally 50-55 lbs bows as people are buying them and soon realize how difficult a 50 plus recurve is to constantly draw and shoot well and opt to sell theirs off in hopes of buying a lower poundage bow verses buying a lower poundage set of additional limbs.

Occasionally recurves get posted in the Traditional Archery section. The bottom line is that you have to be real patient and, even then, most modern risers seem to sell used at close to the retail price.

Aug 14, 2021 · Sanlida makes a outstanding recurve bow. I use the myth x10 riser and x10 limbs very dependable and the grip is very repeatable. For the money it is great buy . Won some nfaa outdoor field championship with this bow. As far as I am concerned the bow ranks up there with all the name brand bows .

Mar 15, 2023 · I've watched $300 Bear recurve bows get relisted over and over all winter long. If you think you are sitting on a gold mine, you are in for a disappointment, sorry. If 6 of those 8 bows are in shootable condition, you might recoup your 200 and make 50 or 75 bucks. Every summer shoot I attend usually has a table of used bows for sale.

The extra money that some bows cost won't necessarily kill any more game or get you any more points but you may enjoy them more...or not. Another opinion to argue about.
