If it were up to Cormier, he’d like to see Gaethje fight Moicano, who’s coming off a short-notice title loss to Islam Makhachev at UFC 311. Cormier says history proves that Moicano (20-6-1 MMA, 12-6 UFC) is the right man for the job.

Dan Hooker said he is out of his five-round fight against Justin Gaethje on March 8 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas (pay-per-view, ESPN, ESPN+) due to a hand injury. The injury was first revealed when Hooker mentioned it in a video posted to his daughter’s YouTube channel, “Zoe Hooker TV,” on Tuesday.
